The Moose Jaw Warriors announced Monday they are looking for a new general manager after Alan Millar left to accept a position as director of player personnel with Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence.
Millar joined the Warriors in 2010 as director of hockey operations and was named GM two years later. The longest-serving GM in franchise history won a pair of East Division titles, in 2011-12 and 2017-18, and posted the top record in the league during the 2017–2018 season to win the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy.
He worked with Hockey Canada’s under-20 program in 2020 and the U18 program in 2018 and 2019.
