The Collective is comprised of seasonal cabin dwellers and full time residents of the Clear Lake area. This year the Collective will perform the first two albums released by Crosby, Stills & Nash. CSN, along with Neil Young, personified California folk rock in the late 60s and early 70s. Their creative output still stands as some of the best music ever created.

The first album helped initiate a sea change in popular music away from the ruling late sixties, psychedelic blues-based rock music on loud guitars, into a more rootsy acoustic sound. The second album, entitled Deja Vu, enlisted the writing and playing of Neil Young. Deja Vu is also heralded as being a ‘ground breaking masterpiece of the times.’
