Cottagers and campers took advantage of warm, sunny skies, though the temperatures were less than ideal over much of the Victoria Day long weekend. Yet even the cold didn’t deter Manitoba’s diehard campers, as the majority of the province’s 5,800 camping spots were full over the weekend. And in Riding Mountain National Park, one park official said the turnout was excellent.
