Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Cool today, with improvements tomorrow

Today looks like a great day to stay inside -- but the two coming up are a different story.

Increasing cloudiness is the story of this morning, with a 60 per cent chance of showers by early this afternoon. Skies should clear later on today, but we'll only reach a high of about 19 C.

A low tonight under clear skies will be a chilly 2 C, but the cool weather takes a break tomorrow.

The Friday forecast calls for sun all day, with a little bit of wind in the early afternoon and a high of 24 C.

It's Saturday, though, that will really shine -- with a predicted high of 29 C and sunny skies, it'll feel more like July.

Don't expect it to last, of course. Sunday will be back to early fall temperatures, with a high of 16 to close out the weekend, and a mix of sun and cloud, with even a chance of showers.

Temperatures in the mid teens are expected for a string of days early next week, too. Monday should see 14 C, Tuesday 16 C and Wednesday 17 C, and overnight lows will be frighteningly close to the freezing mark.

The normal high for this time of year is 18 C. The normal low is 5 C.
