The City of Brandon will conduct an emergency exercise in the area near the Water Treatment Plant on 26th Street North Friday morning.

The actual physical response portion of the exercise should begin around 10 a.m. and should be wrapped up by the lunch hour, with an internal debrief to follow, director of communications Allison Collins said in a news release this morning.

Residents along McDonald Avenue have already been informed of tomorrow’s planned exercise, Collins said.
