Police say a man trying to sell his window-washing services in Brandon was actually wanted by Winnipeg police.

Officers were called to the Willowdale Crescent area, near Ashgrove Boulevard, just past 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, where someone called to report that the window-washer's cart was creating a traffic hazard in the street.

The 20-year-old man was selling window-washing services door-to-door. Police say he was wanted by the Winnipeg police for failing to comply with his probation.

He was held overnight in Brandon jail, and was to appear in court Monday morning.
