A 29-year-old woman was arrested after police discovered $1800 in cash, seven grams of marijuana and four grams of cocaine in her vehicle.
Police said they stopped the vehicle in the 200 block of Princess Avenue on Wednesday afternoon as the vehicle was not properly registered.
The woman was unable to produce a driver’s licence and there was an improperly restrained child in the vehicle, according to police.
The officer who stopped the vehicle said they noticed a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The accused has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
She was released and is expected to appear in court in April.
