Westman residents hoping to locate aerial photos of the family farm will have to wait until the new year.

Homestead Aerial was scheduled to be at Shoppers Mall yesterday and today, but due to illness in the family, had to postpone their visit. The business, with its collection of aerial farm photos dating back to the 1950s of all areas of Manitoba, will be set up at Ag Days at the Keystone Centre from Jan. 15-17.

This archival library is the oldest in existence and it allows people a chance to locate photos of the family farm that many thought do not exist. The photos were taken on speculation that landowners would want a photo of their property, but at that time, many didn’t have the resources to purchase them.

Homestead Aerial allows people to look through its library where they have a high success rate for finding that family farm, country school and many other points of interest.
