Police are trying to piece together what happened to a 16-year-old Brandon girl who was taken to hospital yesterday after a possible sexual assault.
The girl arrived home at 1 a.m. Wednesday, with what police say was mental and physical trauma that suggested she had been sexually assaulted. Although she said she had been assaulted by a male suspect, specific details were difficult to obtain, as police say she was highly intoxicated.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and officers continue to investigate.
