An overnight break-in to a cafeteria netted thieves a small amount of cash, and some food items, police say.

The break-in was reported at about 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday and is believed to have happened sometime overnight. The cafeteria serves a livestock business on the 300-block of 12th Street North. An employee of the business reported the break-in to police.

The investigation continues.
