This government shows little sign of focus
The new Liberal government seems only interested in greenhouse gas, showboating with refugees, pandering to the wish list of indigenous chiefs and, of course, spending gobs of borrowed money on “stimulus.” We know how efficiently it will be spent.
Why are the concerns for the Little Saskatchewan River being ignored?

Why so few beds?
For at least the past couple of months, when a person “desperately” needs a bed in the Brandon hospital, why can they not find one? Are they that overloaded, or is our NDP government that broke or stingy? Why can’t they build a hospital large enough to last a few years? Oh well, I guess Brandon needs another “hospital expansion” — Winnipeg will have to wait. Yeah, right … who do you think the NDP will make wait?
Don’t know the rules? Don’t drive!
It’s a wonder there are not more accidents in Brandon. Do police not hand out tickets for making right turns from a left driving lane, or left turns from right lanes? Or what about four-way stop signs — do drivers not know how to use four-way stops? A driver really has to watch for these “don’t know drivers.” You see them every day and almost run into them once or twice a week.
No one is fessing up to voting NDP
I read The Brandon Sun and listened to all the comments — interesting I must say. I have a few questions maybe someone can answer. What per cent of the Manitoba’s population pays personal income tax? Do union employees really have any idea where their dues are spent? Do they have any idea what their union bosses’ wages and expenses really are? How much of their union dues are spent on advertising for the NDP? When you talk to Manitobans, no one voted NDP, so how did they get a majority government?
Hamilton must step down
I was dismayed to see an official kickoff announced for Liberal candidate Vanessa Hamilton’s bid for the seat in Brandon East. How can this lady, in good conscience, still be sitting on city council while taking the next step in her political career? I am now siding with other people who insist she step down now from her council position.
