All four Brandon University Bobcats teams will begin the 2012-13 Canada West conference season on the road.
With Canada West’s addition of Mount Royal College and the University of Northern British Columbia, team schedules will increase from 20 to 22 games, with the Bobcats volleyball squads starting their seasons in Regina against the Cougars on Oct. 26-27.
BU’s volleyball squads will then play their home openers in the new Healthy Living Centre on Friday, Nov. 2 versus Thompson Rivers.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats men’s and women’s basketball teams will take on the Alberta Golden Bears on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3. Bobcat basketball teams will actually begin the season with five straight road games before returning home to play their home openers in the Healthy Living Centre on Saturday, Nov. 17 when they host the Winnipeg Wesmen.
