Jeremy Lucio’s 37 points led the Vincent Massey Vikings varsity boys to the consolation title at the Vincent Massey Trojans high school basketball tournament in Winnipeg.

Lucio hit eight three-pointers as Massey beat the Steinbach Sabres 71-61 in the consolation final on Saturday. Earlier, Lucio scored 23 points to lead the Vikings to an 83-71 over the Crocus Plainsmen. Drew Jones led Crocus with 26 points.

Crocus beat JH Bruns 64-61 to finish in seventh place. Jones scored 29 points in that game.
