When Brandon University mathematics professor Jeff Williams puts pen to paper, he may have more than another academic treatise in mind.
Williams is one of the featured authors in the short story collection “Came as Me, Left as We,” published by Alfie Dog Fiction of Great Britain.
The collection brings together some of the best short stories from 21 authors from around the globe.
Williams, chair of BU’s math and computer department, penned the story “Coffee with Luna,” chronicling the struggles with the possibility of campus romance being derailed by social media.
“Young love hangs in the balance when a nerdy student investigates his potential girlfriend online,” says Alfie Dog’s plot-line summary.
“Came as Me, Left as We” contains a mixture of women’s fiction, feel-good stories and romance, and contains stories to leave the reader thinking.
