Dinsdale Park was the final destination on a beautiful Saturday afternoon as the Defenders Motorcycle Club completed their second annual memorial ride.

The sun was hot and the motorbikes were very cool all lined up in rows as those in attendance were socializing and enjoying some refreshments after the ride.

The journey began at the Headingley Sports Shop in Winnipeg on June 22 and continued down the Highway of Heroes through Portage la Prairie and eventually riding into Brandon down to Dinsdale Park.

It was $20 to register for the ride and donations by local businesses were raffled off.

All proceeds from this year’s memorial ride were donated to the Valour Place which provides shelter for veterans and service members requiring medical treatment.
