Police took a 17-year-old girl to jail on Monday evening after they happened across her smoking pot.
She was spotted on the 700-block of Ninth Street just before 8:30 p.m. with the marijuana, and police soon found that she was on two separate recognizance orders, each of which prohibited her from the possession of use of illegal drugs.
The girl was arrested for those two breaches and spent the night in jail, to appear in court Tuesday morning.
