As of Wednesday night, Brandon West will have an NDP candidate.
Longtime Brandon School trustee Linda Ross will be the acclaimed candidate at the party’s nomination meeting tonight, to be held at 7 p.m. at the Trails West Inn.
Ross will take on incumbent PC Reg Helwer in the upcoming provincial election. The Liberal party has yet to name a candidate.
