The hallways, studios, stairwells and hidden corners of the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba were transformed on Oct. 1. The sights and sounds brought art enthusiasts out by the handfuls.
Wheat City Nuit Blanche is an unique experience for Westman and an opportunity to see and experience musical performances outside of the usual context of a “concert.”
Numerous musicians and music students congregated at the AGSM and local businesses, performing existing and new works in ways that engage the audience in unexpected ways. One featured duet was between trombonist Aaron Wilson of the Brandon University’s School of Music and his baying hound dog, Sally.
