RCMP are looking for a ring thief after the suspect allegedly broke into a Souris home on Sunday and made off with multiple piece of jewellery.
The resident reported their home on Sixth Avenue East in Souris had been broken into at some point Sunday morning between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and that at least 12 rings were stolen.
The rings were gold and silver with various stone combinations and are valued at more than $5,000.
Anyone with information on this matter or who knows of anyone attempting to pawn rings are encouraged to contact the Blue Hills RCMP — Souris detachment at 204-483-2854 or anonymously at Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
