A local mechanic shop is adding high-end performance parts to their roster just in time for SuperRun.

Tory’s Repair shop will be putting the pedal to the metal, bringing in a selection of high-end parts for almost any mechanical need.

The new section of the shop will feature everything from carburetors to air cleaners to roller rockers and engine parts and everything in between.

Tory Chambers has owned the shop for 16 years and has always wanted to be able to offer this type of service to the automotive community in town.

Chambers owns a selection of specialty cars, including a 1970 Plymouth GTX, ’74 Plymouth Cuda, ’80 GMC 4×4 and a 2017 Ram Longhorn, and knows first-hand how difficult and time-consuming the process of finding parts for specialty cars can be.

He embraces the need for speed at the Rivers racetrack and saw first-hand that there was a demand for these items in the Westman community.

“If I want to race, so do they,” Chambers said. “It’s for anyone who wants to go fast.”

The room is pulling into town just in time for Brandon’s biggest car show and will be an essential service as Tory’s Repair will serve as the mechanic shop for the upcoming 2019 SuperRun.

Tory’s Repair has been the mechanic shop for SuperRun in the past and having parts on hand instead of on order will make a huge difference in terms of expediting repairs to vehicles, Chambers said.

SuperRun runs from Aug 2 to 4, and Chambers plans on going on some of the cruises if he can.

“It’s busy; people’s car breaks down, it’s part of driving,” Chambers said.

Having the new section of the shop means quicker and cheaper parts for the car community, Chambers said.

“If people are broke down, they have the shop available to get things done.”

The room will be officially unveiled this Wednesday during a mini show ’n shine and barbecue. Chambers encourages guests to bring their customs, classics and specialty vehicles.
