Brandon First executive director Graham Harvey has left the organization, it was announced on Friday.
According to a release sent out by Brandon First, Harvey stepped down as he is moving out of the province for work.
“In my professional experience, it’s rare to see a manager succeed in being so strategically progressive and financially prudent at the same time,” Brandon First board chair Franz Lehrbass said of Harvey’s tenure.
Options for filling Harvey’s position will be discussed at the organization’s first board meeting of 2020. That meeting will also be Lehrbass’s last as chair as he is also moving out of the province for work.
Brandon First’s goal is to promote Brandon as a viable host city for events and conferences.
