Brandonites will be treated to a Christmas convoy on Friday and Saturday by Compass Coach Lines.

Three decorated buses will be joined by three other vehicles for the event, which will be held from about 6 to 8 p.m. both nights.

In what’s shaping up to be a difficult, socially distant Christmas, David Anning said he and his partner Jen Pearson thought it was a chance to bring a little joy to the season.

“When Manitoba went to code red, our business, like many others, slowed right down,” Anning said. “As a result, we’ve had our buses parked for a few weeks and we thought it would be a good opportunity for us to give back and try to spread some Christmas cheer.”

The buses will be painted in different holiday themes with Christmas lights on them and carols playing.

The exact route can be found on the company’s website, compasscoachlines.com
