The under-15 AAA Brandon Wheat Kings certainly know how to make themselves feel at home.

The Winnipeg U15 AAA Hockey League leaders blasted the visiting Interlake Lightning 13-1 in the first-ever game at the newly opened J&G Homes Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Cole Temple led the way with four goals and three assists, with Jaxon Jacobson (one goal, three assists), Easton Odut (2g, 1a), Brady Turko (2g, 1a), Roan Michalchuk  (3g, 0a), Dustin Bell (1g, 1a), Colten Worthington (0g, 2a), Tate Bercier (0g, 2a), Josh McGregor (0g, 2a) and Loughlan McMullan (0g, 2a) all contributing multi-point games.
