Local police caught up with a 31-year-old man early Monday after he allegedly stole some merchandise from a nearby business the day before.
Police arrested the suspect around 5 a.m. Monday, after he was banging on the door of a residence located in the 1200 block of 10th Street.
Once police arrived on the scene, they recognized the man from a theft that took place in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, with his likeness being captured on the business’ security camera system.
While the man was eventually released from custody, he is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face a charge of theft under $5,000.
