After a sunny and warm long weekend, Brandon was hit with a helping of wet stuff starting Monday morning.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, 20 to 32 millimetres of rain fell on the city over the previous 24 hours as of 3 p.m. Monday.

The rain was scheduled to continue into the evening with a chance for thunderstorms.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week, temperatures are forecast to remain in the 22 C to 26 C range during the day, with a mix of sun and clouds.

That could end Friday night, with a 30 per cent chance of rain showers starting then and carrying into Saturday.
