The Westman South Storm went a perfect 6-0 on their way to capturing the Softball Manitoba under-13 AA showcase event in Winkler last weekend.
They opened up the tournament with round-robin victories over the Interlake Phillies, Central Charge, Eastman Blazers and Westman North, as they outscored their opposition by a 54-31 margin.
Following a 14-7 triumph over the Charge in the semifinal, they picked up a 15-9 win in the championship contest over the Manitoba Repaers.
The Storm features players from Wawanesa, Virden, Deloraine and Oak Lake.
