The GW Vacuum Truck Young Guns were knocked out of the western Canadian championships on Sunday morning with a 4-1 semifinal loss to the Regina Trappers in Saskatoon.
The Young Guns advanced to the semifinal by beating the NSRBL Beavers 7-4 on Saturday in the 3-4 Page playoff game, with Jordan Robertson earning the victory and Brandon Lockerby driving in four runs.
During the round-robin at the four-team event, the Young Guns fell 6-4 to Regina on Saturday and split a pair of games on Friday, falling 2-1 to the Saskatoon Outlaws and topping the Beavers 12-2.
