The Dauphin Kings added a couple of pieces to their forward core on Wednesday as they acquired 20-year-old Mason Smith from the Portage Terriers and 19-year-old Blake Boudreau from the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Caledon Admirals.

The Terriers and Admirals both received future considerations from the Kings.

Smith, who was born in Rochester, N.Y., but grew up in Canada, had eight goals and four assists in 25 games for the Terriers last season.

He had previously played in 13 contests over the course of two campaigns for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Estevan Bruins and recorded four assists.

Boudreau, who is from Riverside, Ont., split time between the OJHL’s Georgetown Raiders and the Admirals in 2021-22 and had eight goals and 14 assists in 50 games.
