Opening day of the Manitoba Summer Fair was a stormy affair as thunderclouds rolled through Brandon on Wednesday evening.

If there’s one thing the annual summer fair attracts nearly every year, it’s rainfall.

A crowd of fair-goers enjoyed the midway and rides before the rain fell, and found ways to gain shelter when the storm hit.
