A 33-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly having a shotgun contrary to a court order.

Shortly after noon, while looking for suspects at a home on a separate matter, police observed the man with a shotgun.

He was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm contrary to an order and possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized.

Assaulting each other

A woman and man were both arrested on Wednesday after allegedly assaulting each other.

Around 7 a.m., police responded to a report of an assault at a home. An investigation revealed that they apparently assaulted each other, so both the 43-year-old woman and the 45-year-old man were arrested.

Neither required any medical attention.

They will both appear in court Dec. 11 on charges of assault.
