More than 150 Brandon residents representing Muslims, Christians, Bahai, Hindus, and Jews among others gather at the Knox United Church lawn for a Multi-Faith Peace Rally for peace, justice and prevention of war on Saturday morning.
Knox United Church Minister Craig Miller, one of the organizers, said the church joins hands with the Islamic community to advocate for peace amid global conflicts, addressing the prevalent conflicts in Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, and Somalia.
