The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has unveiled its 2023-24 RBC-MJHL community ambassador team, comprised of one player from each MJHL team.
According to the league, each player has displayed outstanding citizenship and sportsmanship both on and off the ice and a commitment to volunteerism.
RBC community ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to their communities where they play.
Each ambassador will be recognized at an RBC game night, and will be honoured by a donation from RBC to a school in their local community.
The players representing their teams are: Logan Walker, Dauphin Kings; Owen Pringle, Waywayseecappo Wolverines; Trent Penner, Winkler Flyers; Connor Thompson, Neepawa Titans; Michael Tanchak, Niverville Nighthawks; Matthew Renville, Winnipeg Blues; Miguel Bouvier, OCN Blizzard; Tayem Gialason, Portage Terriers; Thomas Stewart, Winnipeg Freeze; Darius Makes, Swan Valley Stampeders; Ethan Brown, Selkirk Steelers; Ethan Guthrie, Virden Oil Capitals; Ethan Brown, Selkirk Steelers; and Cole Plowman, Steinbach Steelers.
