Break and enter

Police continue to investigate two break-ins that occurred on Monday morning.

Then at 9:55 a.m., a homeowner on the 600 block of 15th Street reported to police that his garage had been broken into. He said he was missing a few tools.

Damage to multiple vehicles

Brandon Police Service is asking anyone in the Cobalt Crescent, Fraser Crescent and Hawthorne Drive areas to check their security cameras for any evidence that could help an investigation into damage to multiple vehicles Sunday night.

On Monday morning, police started receiving reports of damage to vehicles in those areas. Four vehicles had smashed windows, damaged seats and door handles.

Other unlocked vehicles were entered and rummaged through. One vehicle had the ignition tampered with.

In the same areas, two vehicles were parked in a driveway. One the vehicles had its windows smashed out, while the other one — a 2020 white Nissan Rouge — was stolen.

Police believe the incidents are connected and are asking anyone with information or camera footage in the area to contact police at 204-729-2345.
