Armed man found in stolen vehicle
A 35 year-old male was arrested on Saturday, just after midnight after being found in a stolen vehicle. A man was arrested near the 1400 block of Rosser Avenue and allegedly found to have a knife on him, Brandon police said. He was released from the Brandon police station with a future court date.
Possession of a weapon
City police say on Saturday they arrested an intoxicated 18 year-old woman armed with a knife near the City Centre Hotel. Officers responded at about 7 p.m. after receiving a report of a woman in an altercation with a man. The woman was lodged at the police station and later released with a future court date.
Meth found in stolen vehicle
Police arrested a couple of travellers in a stolen truck just after midnight on Sunday near the ooo block of Fifth Street. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Steinbach. Police said they found a small amount of methamphetamine inside the vehicle. A 34 year-old man and a 29 year-old woman were released with future court dates.
