Man attacked with machete
A 22-year-old woman was arrested Friday night after allegedly assaulting a man with a machete.
Around 10:49 p.m., police received a call about a potential weapon in the area of the 1200 block of Ninth St.
Police say, a woman had forced her way into a home in the 1200 block of 10th St. and assaulted a 21-year-old man.

The woman struck the man numerous times in the arm with a machete, and discharged a can of bear spray while inside the residence, according to police.
She was arrested and charged with break and enter, two counts of assault with a weapon, and two counts of possessing a weapon, and was held for a court date.
The man required medical attention but had sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Victim shot with BB gun
Police say they’re looking for two people who robbed a business in the 200 block of Lyndale Drive of money and merchandise on Friday evening.
The Brandon Police service reports that their officers responded to the store at about 9:33 p.m. where they discovered an employee had been shot several times with a BB gun by one of the robbers, while the second robber had cut his hand with a knife.
Police say, they have been unable to locate suspects. They didn’t reveal the amount of money or type of merchandise taken.
