Multiple-vehicle collision
One man is seriously injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Brandon early Tuesday morning.
Around 4:55 a.m., police were called to a car accident in the 5500 block of Richmond Avenue East.

A semi-trailer was travelling north on Limestone Road East and turning west onto Richmond Avenue when it broke down.
The trailer was blocking the westbound lane and partially blocking the eastbound lane.
A Dodge Caravan heading east struck the back driver’s side of the semi-trailer.
Then a Mitsubishi Lancer, also travelling east, struck the Dodge Caravan.
The 52-year-old man driving the Dodge Caravan was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say they continue to investigate.
RCMP seize drugs and weapons in Harrison Park
A 31-year-old from Winnipeg is facing numerous drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop by RCMP last Friday.
Around 9:55 a.m., officers with the RCMP Roving Traffic Unit conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Highway 16 in the Municipality of Harrison Park.
Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the three occupants — two from Alberta and one from Winnipeg.
Officers noticed a sandwich bag of dried cannabis. When officers attempted to arrest the occupants of the vehicle, one of the passengers, the man from Winnipeg, fled toward Newdale.
The man was eventually located with the assistance of a police dog, Jolt, in an outbuilding on a rural property.
A search of the vehicle and the suspects led to the seizure of one kilogram of cocaine and more than 500 grams of a substance believed to be a cutting agent.
Officers also seized several knives, cans of bear mace and drug-related paraphernalia.
Andres Gonzalez, 31, was charged with multiple offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon, escaping lawful custody and resisting arrest.
Gonzalez was remanded into custody, while the other two people in the vehicle were released with a court date.
