The Assiniboine Community College students’ association is reviving its indoor beach volleyball tournament this March.

The event, dubbed “Sun of a Beach,” features participants dressed in their best beach gear for a beach volleyball tournament followed by an after-party.

The tournament, which historically was an annual event, has not been hosted for the past few years. This year it’s back but with a twist — the tournament will be held at Triple Crown Sports on March 23 and the after-party will take place at the Eagle’s Nest Bar and Grill.

“If you are a current student, alumni, staff or a community member who likes to have a good time, we would love to have you participate in this fun day,” Sydney Huston, business representative for the students’ association council at ACC, said in a press release. “My hope is to bring this event back and keep it going and growing for many years.”

Registration for signing up a team can be done at accstudents.com and closes on Feb. 29.
