Here is a rundown of the hours of operation at various local businesses and services this weekend that are modifying their hours for the holiday. The list is far from complete. If you want your service or business to be included in the Sun’s next holiday hours listing, email your hours of operation a few days in advance to reporter Abiola Odutola at aodutola@brandonsun.com, with “Holiday Hours” in the subject line.

CITY OF BRANDON

• Brandon City Hall (410 Ninth St.), the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Ave.), the Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Ave.) and the Civic Services Complex (382 Park Ave. East) will be closed on March 29 (Good Friday) and Easter Monday (April 1)

• Brandon Transit will be running holiday hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The Transit Information Centre will be closed. The Transit Information Centre will be closed on Good Friday

• The Eastview Landfill will be closed Friday and Sunday.

• Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will be closed on Good Friday, followed by regular hours of operation Saturday through Monday

• Brandon’s Youth Centre will be closed on Good Friday but open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On Easter Monday, it will be open from 3:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.

• Brandon Municipal Cemetery is open seven days a week, but the cemetery office will be closed on Jan. 2.

The city returns to regular hours on Tuesday, April 2.

GROCERY STORES

• The Real Canadian Superstore (920 Victoria Ave.): open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Good Friday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

• Sobeys Extra Brandon South (1570 18th St.) and Sobeys Brandon West (3409 Victoria Ave.): open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Good Friday and open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

• Co-op Marketplace (1035 Richmond Ave.): open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday and open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Easter Sunday. The Co-op gas bars in Brandon will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

• Corral Centre Safeway: open on Good Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Easter Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Corral Centre Walmart Supercentre: open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Good Friday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

• Shoppers Mall: open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Easter Monday.

LIQUOR

• Brandon’s three full Liquor Mart locations and the Liquor Mart Express: open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

• Beer Warehouse (Victoria Inn, 3550 Victoria Ave.): open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Good Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

• The 40 (210 18th St.): open from 11 a.m. on Good Friday to 6 p.m. and 11 am to 6 pm on Easter Sunday.

CLINICS

The Newmount Medical Clinic (624-B 18th St.): open on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 31 from noon to 4 p.m. and Easter Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

PHARMACIES

• With too many pharmacies to list, it would be best to contact your business of choice to find out their weekend hours.

Brandon’s two Shoppers Drug Marts (139 Victoria Ave. East and 1570 18th St.) are known for keeping holiday hours. The Victoria Avenue East location will be open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Good Friday and open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Easter Sunday. The 18th Street location will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Easter Monday.

OTHER THINGS TO DO

• The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum is currently closed for repairs.
