Lady of the Lake is once again putting its best foot forward.
On Thursday, the café will be hosting its second annual Spring Fashion and Dinner Show. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to the Women’s Resource Centre.
Lady of the Lake owner Miranda Stobbe says she chose the Women’s Resource Centre as the beneficiary because she saw that they needed support.
“I really like their message,” she said.
Stobbe has done fundraisers for women’s issues before, having previously supported the women’s shelter.
Tickets for the April 11 show are already sold out. Last year’s fashion show raised about $1,000 for the centre.
