A company from Second Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry was deployed from CFB Shilo on Friday morning to help fight wildfires in Alberta.

Major Devin Kruk told the Sun before departure that they won’t know which fire they will be tasked with fighting until they arrive in Alberta and given orders by the unified command.
