The Brandon Wheat Kings announced Friday they have signed Slovakian defenceman Adam Belusko.
The 2006-born blue-liner from Kosice, Slovakia, who is entering his 18-year-old season, was nabbed by the Wheat Kings 41st overall in the 2024 Canadian Hockey League import draft.
The five-foot-11, 195-pound Belusko has skated with Slovakian national teams in his age group in each of the last three seasons.
The Western Hockey League team’s training camp begins at the end of the month.
