The city, in a press release issued on Tuesday, said work will include minor concrete repairs, asphalt milling and paving, with initial efforts focusing on the southbound stretch between Rosser Avenue and Louise Avenue.

Subsequent stages will cover different sections of 18th Street, progressing both southbound and northbound from Park Avenue to Queens Avenue.

Business access will be maintained, the release said, though driveway access may be restricted at times. Customers are advised to reach out directly for more information.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible, or to drive cautiously when passing through construction zones.
