The Keystone Centre has re-signed a contract with Molson Coors as the official supplier of beer for all the events at its facility, and has welcomed Farmery Estate Brewing for craft beer choices.

Molson Coors has the pouring rights until 2027 said Connie Lawrence, Keystone Centre’s general manager and CEO, adding, it serves as a commitment to quality beverages while “enhancing the overall experience for our patrons.”

“We are proud to extend our partnership with Molson Coors, a brand synonymous with great taste and quality. Their support plays a crucial role in our ability to host memorable events in our community,” Lawrence said in a news release.

Under the renewed agreement, Molson Coors has the title of official beer sponsor of the Keystone Centre, providing beer, malt beverages, ciders, and ready-to-drink cocktails.

It’s a partnership that the company is thrilled to extend, said Jesse Adamyk, district sales manager with Molson Coors.

“We believe Molson Coors is a natural fit with the Keystone Centre, and that our services, and exciting portfolio of brands will enhance the event experience,” stated Adamyk in a news release.

Additionally, Farmery Estate Brewing Company — founded in Neepawa — has also signed an agreement with the Keystone Centre.

The Farmery products available at all licensed kiosks within the Keystone Centre include hard iced teas, caesars and a limited selection of local craft beer.

Farmery opened its brewery in 2016 and grows its own barley and hops. In 2019 it was named “Small Business of the Year” and “Business of the Year” by the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce.

Lawrence said the dedication of the local craftmanship, “will bring a new dimension to our events, and enhance the experience of our guests.”

Chris Warwaruk, co-founder and co-owner of Farmery Estate Brewing said, he’s excited to provide locally made products to patrons of the Keystone Centre.

“It’s a great way to showcase the best of what Manitoba has to offer, right in the heart of Westman,” Warwaruk said in a news release.

There are three more Wheat Kings home games scheduled for the month of October, Manitoba Ag Ex starts on Oct. 23, and on Oct. 27 is a concert featuring Sawyer Brown, Shenandoah and George Fox.
