Families in Brandon are in for a treat next summer as “Sesame Street Live! Say Hello” is set to bring Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the beloved ‘Sesame Street’ gang to the city.
The live show, which promises an interactive musical adventure for audiences of all ages, will stop in Brandon on June 20 as part of its U.S. and Canada tour.
Produced by Round Room Live in collaboration with Sesame Workshop, “Sesame Street Live! Say Hello” invites fans to sing, dance, and play along with their favourite furry friends.

The show will feature Elmo’s puppy, Tango, in a fun game of hide-and-seek, with plenty of surprises and interactive moments to keep the audience engaged throughout, the organizer said in a press release issued on Monday
Round Room Live founder Stephen Shaw expressed his excitement about the tour.
“We are overjoyed and honoured to be collaborating with Sesame Workshop to bring a brand-new tour of ‘Sesame Street Live’ to stages across the U.S. and Canada,” Shaw said. “Round Room Live has a long history of exciting, innovative, and engaging productions, and we’re thrilled to combine our dedication to premium, unforgettable entertainment with the beloved characters of ‘Sesame Street’ in an interactive musical adventure that will create memorable experiences for families of all ages.”
The show marks another milestone for Sesame Workshop, which has been enriching minds and expanding hearts for over 50 years through its blend of education and entertainment, the release added.
Whit Higgins, executive vice-president of Sesame Workshop, said for over 50 years, Sesame Workshop has worked at the intersection of education, media, and research, creating joyful experiences that enrich minds and expand hearts.
“Round Room Live has a history of working with new and iconic properties to create engaging and thrilling live events. We can’t wait for families and friends to enjoy this brand-new ‘Sesame Street’ show filled with song, dance, and a few fun and furry surprises,” Higgins said.
Tickets for “Sesame Street Live! Say Hello” will go on sale Friday, with a pre-sale starting Wednesday, the release added.
