By 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Brandon reached a high of -22 C with Environment Canada forecasting improving temperatures overnight with a low of -15 C and light snow. The break from the winter chill will begin today, with Environment Canada forecasting a daytime high of 1 C. Watch for local blowing snow early this morning, and a northwest wind of 40 kilometres per hour gusting to 60.
