James Peterson of Ducks Unlimited Manitoba will talk about supporting biodiversity and conservation in a Science Seminar Series talk on Friday. The talk will begin at 2:30 p.m., in Room 4-47 of the John R. Brodie Science Centre.

The Bobcats volleyball teams continue their homestand by hosting the University of Winnipeg this weekend at the Healthy Living Centre. Match times on Friday are 6 p.m. for the men and 7:45 for the women. On Saturday, the men begin at 5 p.m., with the women up next at 6:45. The Bobcat basketball teams are also matched up with the Wesmen, with games in Winnipeg on Friday and Saturday.

The next Pro Series concert will take place on Feb. 11, with School of Music faculty taking the stage at the Lorne Watson Recital Hall. Members from across the faculty, along with guests, will perform works by Barbara York, Ravel, Jorge Montilla and more. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., in the Lorne Watson Recital Hall. Tickets will be available at the door at $20 for adults, and free for BU and Conservatory of Music students.

The Healthy Living Centre will host a co-ed volleyball tournament on Feb. 22. Registration is available at HealthyLivingCentre.ca.

Sun of a Beach 2.0 is back! The Assinioboine College Students’ Association is bringing back your favourite volleyball tournament this year! Experience the fun of Sun of a Beach with the ACSA on Feb. 22. Registration opens on Jan. 13 and closes on Feb. 7. Don’t miss your chance to participate in the biggest volleyball game of the year!
