Kale Fisher posted three kills and 32 assists as the Brandon University men’s volleyball team lost 3-1 (25-15, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21) to the Saskatchewan Huskies in Canada West action in Saskatoon on Saturday.
Tom Friesen led BU (3-3) with 12 kills and five errors, while Liam Pauls added 10 and three.
Emmett Graham led all attackers with 19 kills and four errors for Saskatchewan (3-5).
In the women’s match, Saskatchewan (5-3) won 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-16). BU (0-6) setter Carly Thomson posted six kills and 12 assists.
Former Bobcats Taryn Hannah and Keely Anderson put up nine and six kills, respectively.
BU continues the regular season at home against Manitoba this Friday and Saturday.
