Dauphin RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects after receiving reports on Tuesday of multiple break-ins at a storage facility in the city.
The owners of one of the storage units contacted RCMP at around 9 a.m. and reported that three Polaris snowmobiles were missing from their unit on Whitmore Avenue.
Another report was made later Tuesday about two missing utility trailers that had been parked at the facility, the RCMP said in a news release on Wednesday.

Through an investigation, police determined that the items were stolen between 6 p.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. on Tuesday, the RCMP said in a news release on Wednesday.
Police are working to create a list of all the items that were stolen from the eight units that were believed to be affected, police said.
Despite police conducting “extensive patrols,” they have yet to find the snowmobiles or trailers, the release said.
Dauphin RCMP continues to investigate and is asking anyone that may have seen suspicious activity in or around that area in the time frame mentioned to contact the detachment at 204-622-5020.
