Four arrested in drug bust
The Brandon Police Service arrested four people after finding drugs and cash during a traffic stop on Monday.
After receiving information from the Organized Crime Section, Brandon police stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of 26th Street.

During a search of the vehicle, officers seized roughly 13 grams of methamphetamine and five grams of cocaine, BPS said in a news release.
The estimated street value totalled roughly $1,800, the release said.
Police also seized more than $4,000 in Canadian currency and all cellphones that they found in the vehicle, BPS said.
A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing proceeds of crime and failing to comply with a release order.
He was held in BPS’s detention unit and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Three women, ages 29, 30 and 45, were also arrested and charged with possessing methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possessing proceeds of crime.
They were all released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court in March 2026.
Break, enter and theft
The Brandon Police Service is investigating after a rental property was broken into and several items, including appliances, were stolen.
BPS received a report of a break and enter at a building in the first block of 10th Street North on Monday. The crime took place sometime during or immediately after the weekend.
The suspect entered the building by smashing one of the windows, which caused “extensive damage,” BPS said.
A washer and dryer set, lighting fixtures, flooring materials and several tools were reported stolen, police said.
BPS is asking anyone with information about this incident to contact its non-emergency line at 204-729-2345.
