Mounties arrested two Ebb and Flow First Nation men after finding drugs and paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Saturday.

While on patrol, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP stopped a vehicle on Joe Houle Road on the First Nation.

Officers approached the vehicle and told the man to open his door after his window wouldn’t roll down, RCMP said in a news release on Monday.

Officers noticed open alcohol in the vehicle and arrested the driver and passenger, police said.

During a search of the vehicle, Mounties found 29 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging and a scale, the release said.

Two men, 38 and 48 years old, were charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and were subsequently released with a future court date.
